Flash on PHProjekt 6
Our colleague Diana Hirsch of Mayflower was so kind to create a short flash movie to demonstrate some of the new features on PHProjekt 6. Administration module
PHProjekt 6 will provide for administrators some tools to configure and setup the software.
On admin module it will be possible to:
- Add, edit and delete users.
Relations between Rights, Roles and Modules access
Since there is 3 system of access, how is the relation? 1- There is a Module access, that say with modules have each project. Example: Project 1 have (Projects, To do´s, Notes) Project 2 have (To do´s) Project 3 have (Notes)

Privileges on an item
The Privileges is apply on each item within one module of a project.
The project owner has a tab in the item form where all users (except the current user) are listed in rows and some checkbox with the access as columns
(in fact a matrix). Note that this tab is only accessible if the user is the owner of the item or have admin access on it.
Roles system
The Role system applies directly to the modules within a project.
In order to create a new role, the administrator will have a list of all the active modules, and 4 columns with checkbox: READ, WRITE, CREATE, ADMIN.
Praise PHProjekt
Found PHProjekt about a year ago and compared to other solutions, was very close to what we needed. It has worked great ever since. It is highly customizable, modular, feature deep and works on all browsers!
