The PHProjekt development team and Mayflower are proud to announce the release of PHProjekt 6.0.
After two years of development we believe that we created an unique project management application with a rich user experience and state of the art architecture, based on the zend framework and the dojo toolkit. For developers we provided several tools to dig fast into the software - just check out the screencast here.
For today we setup a web application cluster in a cloud to supply you with a fast download and demo site. We would like to thank all the people who worked on this new software and the community who contributed with great feedback.

Hi Guys,

I am completely new to this. Used MSproject and Ganttproject(.biz).

Like the look and feel a lot but I am strugling with basics:

    • how to add task,
    • when I finally make it why do they sometimes appear in the tree sometimes don't
    • how to link task (dependencies)

Would be really nice to have a screencast about the basics:

    • how to create a project
    • how to add tasks
    • task dependencies
    • how to associate tasks to people - where can I track who has done what, (are there automatic email alerts?)
    • how to add milestones
    • what is notifications

Yes, that would be nice (I'd like to know the basics, since I intend to contribute to the project).
